The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery on the shop floor while promoting safety, efficiency, and quality. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and collaboration with team members to ensure smooth production flow and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Oversight:
• Participate in weekly safety meetings to review incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Follow and support company safety protocols, including routine equipment checks and documentation of safety items.
• Assist in identifying and addressing potential hazards on the shop floor.

Machine Operation:
• Operate production machinery efficiently and safely in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor machines for proper performance and report malfunctions or irregularities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance as needed.

Production Support:
• Work with team members to maintain high productivity and morale.
• Ensure paperwork and inspections related to production are completed accurately and on time.

Quality and Compliance:
• Maintain product quality by following standard operating procedures.
• Keep records of production activity and adhere to quality standards.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and machinery protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Detail-oriented and organized with basic documentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
• Ability to work independently and adhere to productivity standards
