Find out where Taikisha USA formerly TKS installed Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers in North America.
This Auto OEM's engineers selected a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) abatement system to destroy the hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) from their paint cure ovens. Their new paint facility features multiple RTO systems to abate exhaust air from the E-coat oven, Sealer oven, and Topcoat Ovens. This customer selected CPI regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTOs) for their high thermal efficiency and low natural gas usage per CFM.

30,000 cfm
This new paint line features a new RTO system. The regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) abates exhaust air from the industrial ovens used for paint cure. The RTO is now running full production, reducing emissions from producing 250,000 vehicles per year by 99%.
Using a Maxon burner and gas train, shown above in orange, the RTO burner produces low NOX.

Two (2) 30,000 cfm RTOs
This customer's two new paint lines feature two new RTOs for industrial oven abatement. The RTOs collectively abate the HAPs from the paint cure ovens and the VOCs from the clear coat painting booths. They pride themselves on choosing the best air pollution control equipment and best thermal oxidizer technologies available.

50,000 cfm
This new West Point paint line features a large RTO to abate the HAPs from the paint cure oven and the VOCs from the clear coat painting booths. Kia elected to combine all paint shop emissions into a single air pollution control system. This combined design causes some issues with oven tar condensation in the cool paint booth air, prior to reaching the RTO's combustion chamber.
Installed 2001, 2005, and 2009
90,000 cfm
This new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) paint line in Canton, Mississippi features a large RTO to abate the HAPs from multiple industrial ovens and the VOCs from the clear coat paint booth. They elected to combine all paint shop emissions from their existing C1 Truck paint line (Pick-up Truck) into a single thermal oxidizer air pollution control system.
Installed 2007
For air pollution control of paint cure industrial oven exhausts.
