As a Design Engineer or Designer on our Mechanical Design Engineering team, you will be immersed in every stage of the project, from conceptualization to installation, fostering collaboration and innovation along the way. As an expert in industrial ductwork design, you will play a key role in fostering innovation and implementing solutions in this area.

Your Role:

  • Utilize Autodesk Revit software to model complex industrial ductwork.
  • Create layout drawings for customer input and approval.
  • Create construction drawings for submission to ductwork fabricators.
  • Review subcontractor fabrication models to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Generate precise material takeoffs by leveraging and customizing Revit features.
  • Adapt to customer requirements, drawing from historical references.
  • Adapt to project coordination needs, by adjusting ductwork as needed, to facilitate the integration of other utilities and installations, ensuring optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with project management, project engineering, and fellow designers to ensure quality and consistency.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum three years industrial ductwork design experience.
  • Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit software.
  • Proven experience generating ductwork material takeoffs within Autodesk Revit software.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong documentation and organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
